We’re all human. At Be Well, we’re humans too, with a way to help you bridge that gap and get on track to lifelong health and wellbeing.

Why a 12-week Roadmap?

At Be Well, we arrange the calendar into [12-Week Years]. Organising our lives around [12-Week Years] gives us many more years of life. It encourages us to focus on what matters most, creates a healthy sense of urgency, and supports us to achieve more in less time.

[12-Week Year] Tips

Subtract your age from 83 (average lifespan of Australians) and multiply by four. That’s the minimum number of [12-Week Years] that lie ahead of you. 😀😀😀

There are four [12-Week Years] in a calendar year which, very conveniently, leaves four weeks for holidays. 🌟🌟🌟

Over the next 12 months, celebrate New Year’s Eve five times: at the end of each of your personal 12-Week Years, and at the end of the calendar year. 🎉🎉🎉

INITIAL ASSESSMENT - establish your base

Our physiotherapist will invite you to tell your story about how you got here and where you wish to go. There may be questions about you and your body, such as injuries from the past, past operations, what you do each day, what exercise you do, and so on.

You will be assessed using a variety of tools and techniques. This may include an examination on a massage table and simple movements, such as bending and reaching.

Styku scan

The assessment will involve conducting a Styku scan. a non-invasive experience which involves standing on a turntable for 30 to 40 seconds to create a 3-D image of your body.

AgeMeter analysis

You will also have the opportunity to do an AgeMeter analysis, which  gives you a precise report on your Functional Age (the age your body functions), in contrast to your Chronological Age (the number of candles on your birthday cake). The analysis takes about 20 minutes and the AgeMeter report benchmarks your results against your peers in an anonymous global database on variables such as:


YOUR 12-WEEK ROADMAP - plan your journey

Wellness is not a ‘medical fix’ but a way of living sensitively and responsively to all the dimensions of body, mind and spirit within your environment. 

Your physiotherapist will work with you to develop your 12-Week Roadmap, tailored to:

  • your health and wellbeing challenges, aspirations and priorities

  • the demands on your time and energy

  • the forms of exercise and recovery you most prefer.

One of the first steps on your Roadmap will be your HUR Onboarding, where a Be Well Keeper will orient you to the HUR machines, calibrate them to suit you, and provide you with your HUR Card.

Consistency is the key that unlocks our potential.

Using the Be Well app on any of your devices, create your schedule of classes, courses, equipment and services, at the frequency and times that suit you.

In addition to making your interaction with Be Well simple and convenient, our app allows us to significantly reducing paper consumption by avoiding the printing of documents.

Your physiotherapist will invite you to share the story of your journey, update your Styku and AgeMeter results, and review your HUR data and Wellness Living data with you. They will address any particular concerns or challenges that may have arise for you.
