This place really is quite something. At the beginning, I justified coming because having everything in one place made sense logistically. I ended up coming back for another reason altogether.

Hear it from the people who are here every day.
Be Well is my third place, after home and work. It is a daily habit I love. The connections with other people, as well as the outstanding facilities, have kept me focused on my health and easily integrated into my busy life as a mum of three.

Be Well is an incredible one-stop shop for all things wellness and vitality. The space is really tranquil and I love the infrared saunas, cold plunge and the compression therapy.

The place we wished had existed.
Be Well was founded by David and Jan. David survived a heart attack and spent years looking for a place that could bring expert clinical care, fitness and recovery together under one roof. That place did not exist, so they built it.
The vision was shaped by what research calls the Blue Zone: the places in the world where people live longest. Okinawa. Sardinia. The Nicoya Peninsula. What those communities share is not a supplement. It is movement, belonging, purpose, and access to support. Be Well is built around the same five principles.

Common Questions
Questions about Be Well and longevity studios.
A health and longevity studio combines fitness, recovery and allied health services in one integrated environment, informed by the science of longevity. Unlike a gym, it brings together clinical care and community under one roof, designed around the same principles that underpin the world's longest-lived populations.
Be Well Hawthorn is one of Australia's first studios built specifically around this model.
Members have access to group fitness classes including yoga, HIIT and reformer Pilates, clinical Pilates led by physiotherapists, personal training, remedial and therapeutic massage, physiotherapy, psychology, exercise physiology, and a full recovery suite including infrared sauna, hydrotherapy, compression therapy and the Hydroxy AirPod. No referral is needed for any allied health service.
Yes. Be Well was built with longevity in mind. The HUR pneumatic resistance equipment, bone strength and balance classes, clinical Pilates, and allied health team make it well-suited to people managing arthritis, osteoporosis, cardiac conditions, and the physical changes that come with ageing. Many members over 60 describe it as the most meaningful health investment they have made.
